Mimickers: The Unknown Entity

Marco Brodie is stranded on an island due to an unfortunate accident which left him alone to survive under harsh conditions. One problem. The Mimickers were crawling everywhere and anywhere he goes. The plague is spreading like wildfire and those infected with the disease lose power over their own body but gain super intellect. However, the infected have a deep desire to kill uninfected humans, by transferring the disease through a single bite. Once killed and bitten, the body will be revived but not the soul. His only hope is to cross the sea for help alongside with one of the only survivors of the accident. But as the population of the mimickers grows, it becomes harder for Marco to outwit them especially if they are always one step ahead.
