"Phil Coulson died bravely fighting Loki today. These were in his jacket pocket." He nodded towards Steve. "Guess he never did get you to sign them. Do not let his life be in vain." Clint stared at Fury, for a solid twenty seconds. He was raging; how dare he lie to his team, to him...How dare he make them think Phil was dead? Then again, he didn't know that Phil was his soulmate; after all, no one did.

Walk a Mile
Loki comes to earth seeking redemption by himself. Of his own free will. But what happens when the Avengers find him helping old people across the busy streets of New york. Everyone on the street runs in fear. The old lady he was helping pats him on the arm and thanks him. Much to the Avengers surprise. Now there's this huge fight going on. Civilians are running in every direction trying to get away from the fight. Some are getting caught in the middle so Loki tries his best to get them away. But the Avengers thinking he's trying to hold a hostage makes the situation even worse. Now Loki needs to get the civilian out of the way and defend himself. He cast a shield around himself and the people. Teleporting the people away he drops the shield . "Listen to me!" Loki groaned as the Avengers ignored his pleas. "What did you do?!" There was so much going on he didn't even see who asked the question. He just answered without thinking."Nothing! You people are the ones that attacked first. As I was helping someone! What if they had gotten hurt?!" The Avengers faltered for just a second before straightening their resolve. As the fight went on Loki was getting tired of their incompetence. "Stop!" Loki yelled heavily out of breath. All the Avengers were frozen by Loki's magic. Even the almighty Thor. "You so-called avengers just attacked me unprovoked, risked multiple lives, and won't even listen to what I have to say." He turned to Thor. "But this must seem normal to you my "dear brother" seeing how this is just like the old days." There was a few minutes of silence before anything happened. People started to flood the streets again. Trying to get a glimpse at the action. "Now since I don't want any trouble, I'll come with you without a fight. Like I would have done before had you not shot at my ass! Now I'm going to drop the spell. But don't you dare fire at me!"

A New Avenger
My life has been anything but normal. HYDRA killed my father than took me captive. They tortured me for years before a group called the Avengers saved me. Not even a month past by when they left me at an orphanage, thinking I would be safer there. Little did they know I wasn't safe anywhere. The girls and boys in the orphanage don't know a thing about my past and I intended to keep it that way. I'm now 14 and believe me, It was a strange eight years. I wish my parents could see me now so that I could show them the girl they gave away. They should never have left me behind. P.S Natasha and Clint did not have Harper when Clint was with Laura. Harper was born a few years before Clint met Laura. To clarify. when Harper is 16, Cooper is 10, Lila is 7 and Nathaniel is yet to be born. So Technically Harper is half-siblings with them all. What happened with Harper is the reason Clint kept his other children and wife a secret from Shield.Complete

"I'm guessing you're here to try and recruit me? Again?" I ask him patiently. I believe this is the fifth-time Nick Fury has come calling. Each and every time I have turned him down, but eventually he comes back and proposes the same thing. "No, I'm here to see if you'd like some girl scout cookies. The Samoa's are selling really well this year." Nick sasses while giving me his signature glare. I smirk. He's a sarcastic jerk, but he is funny. "Oh, well in that case..." I start and trail off, knowing it'll make him even more frustrated. He huffs and my smirk grows. "Why do you want me so bad?" I ask, honestly wanting to know. I watch Nick as he sighs deeply and clasps his hands in front of him. "Your skill set is equal to the best that we have. You would be an invaluable part of the team." He explains, but he knows that isn't what I mean. We stare at each other for a moment before he sighs again. "Your history only makes you more of an impressive subject." He continues and I groan. "The point is that you would help put an end to what happened to you, on a global scale." He says. "Think about it, Shifter." Nick drops a folder on the concrete and starts to walk back to the exit of the roof. I flip through the folder lazily, barely skimming the papers, but I know all of the names already. Once I've gone through most of it I stop and toss it in the dust behind me. Reading it was useless. I wasn't made to be any sort of hero. I DO NOT OWN THE AVENGERS. They're the wrong colour. Was the only thought going through Clint's mind as he locked eyes with a figure he hadn't seen from his teenage years in the circus. He froze, his hand moving away from the weapon at his side as he watched Loki get to his feet. He looked so different, here in the lab, compared to within the circus tent. The spear looked wrong in the man's hand compared to the little ballerina box he worked so hard on before. Loki. Loki was a God. The God of Mischief. Clint met a God all those years ago within the tent. A God called him little hawk. No wonder the man was so confused that he could always find him, he shouldn't have been able to. The God was likely using some power to make his eyes gloss over him, yet he always managed to fight through it.
