This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. The bell rings, that means it's summer, that means I have to spend a whole summer away and with my dad, but my friends and I have plans to go have a bonfire at the peer tonight so at least ill have that before I leave all summer.Complete

Carla, a college student, was planning a trip along with her friends for the upcoming spring break. they decided to go to Miami Florida beach to get away from their current worries. it was all ruined when I got an unexpected call. it was my uncle. he said that my father was on his deathbed, that I was to immediately come home. and I said yes uncle I will be on the plane tonight and I will be there by morning and my uncle said ok my child I will see you then. after I hung up with my uncle I begin to hurry and pack. with tears coming down my cheek. hoping to see my papa for one last time before he passes I prayed. I got to the airport about 9 pm that night I boarded the plane and sat down in my chair. with tears still coming down my cheeks thinking back to the good old day that I had with my papa as I cried my self to sleep.Complete
