Underneath The Scales ( A Mermaid's Tale)

Atlantis, the forgotten kingdom after the war between the 4 land kingdoms. While the 4 kingdoms were at war they spilled horrible chemicals and dumped cannon balls into their kingdom. Destroying the buildings and killing all of the mystical creatures, mermaids and mermen, underwater dragons and horses, and water fairies. They all died but one was under protection of "The Heart of The Sea". The Mermaid's name was Amethyst. Her parents were King and Queen of the 7 Seas. They had beautiful unique colored scales, but nobody knows their names. The king's tail color was a magnificent blue that gave off a ocean blue when the sun shone from up from the surface. The Queen's scarlet and crimson red tail that was as bright as the sun. There was a black mermaid that was envious of the baby's color tail so much she wanted to steal it for herself. Her color of tail was ripped from her because she committed a crime against Atlantis. When the King and Queen got word of this evil plot they had "The Heart of The Sea" given to Amethyst in a small necklace casing, that was given at birth to protect her from getting her tail color taken away. Little did the kingdom know that this would protect the mermaid from anything, leaving her as the only citizen left of Atlantis. But this is where Amethyst a-15-year-old-girl's life begins.
