Violet Gilbert was a bitch. In her mind, if you couldn't get her farther in life than you weren't worth her time. From a young age her parents would exaggerate the fact that Violet and her twin sister, Elena were complete opposites. Elena was a known sweetheart, helping anyone that needed it even if they did her wrong in the past, she always found the good in people. Violet, however, only helped others when it benefited herself, and she only found the bad in people, she didn't care what someone had to say about themselves, if she didn't like them than there was no coming back.

After their parents get into the crash, Violet was even worse. She was more standoffish, she said things without considering other people's feelings, and worst of all, she blamed her sister for the death of their parents. Miranda and Grayson were the only strong feeling of love Violet had ever had, no matter how many friends she had at school, no matter how many people idolized her and wanted to be just like her, she still didn't feel loved.

However, when the infamous Salvatore brothers come back to town, Violet can't keep her eyes off the hot, tall one in the leather jacket and constantly finds herself trying to find the love she wants within his cold heart.
