I had this idea for a book,basically there's this kid,born female(adaline) but,turning ,male (Aiden),who's parents die in a car crash due to ice,and basically no one but the pastor of the the biggest church in town will take 'her' in to keep him from the foster system. So he goes to stay with the pastor and his wife, and no matter what obstacles happen no matter how much that goes on,the pastor ends up accepting the fact that his child is trans and gay.
I'm trying to prove that being lgbtq+ isn't against Christianity ,I'm not trying to prove this to the people who are lgbtq+. I'm trying to prove this to the homophobic parents and pastors and youth leaders,and just,homophobic people period.

Horror in their eyes. There was one thing that Keith didn't understand. He never saw his parents when they died. All of it was in his head. His nightmares. <><><><> Keith Kogane, or Kathrine Kogane as his birth certificate says, is a trans-boy orphan who has gone from house to house, being rejected by all his families. He assumes this one is no different, but what he doesn't know is that this family is (What any family should be like) accepting of his choices. (Ok. I get it, I'm not very good at summaries and such but yeah...don't judge it by the summary. It's a lot better than it sounds ok) Warning. This is a mature story. There is a lot of fluff. That's the only reason he took the offer from Everett University to be a left-wing forward on their Division 1 hockey team. A forgotten team really. Dead last in their league and close to dead last in the division. It was just something to help pay the tuition, but nothing much to get any recognition. He gets to keep playing hockey, he can afford to go to an out-of-state school, and he can remain unknown. It's his perfect game plan. Or well it was. This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time. The newest laws were against gay rights. Now, you weren't allowed to kiss your gay or lesbian partner in public and people would be allowed to harass you or even get you arrested for it. A group of gay rights activists start protesting against the government and the laws against love. Will they be able to win back their rights? Note: if this story sounds familiar or seems real, then you know what I'm hinting at. Here is something you need to know about me, and I don't care what you say about it: I strongly support gay rights and I believe you cannot put a boundary on love. If you say love is free, then why are you telling a man "oh you can't love him because he's a man too," or "oh, you can't love her because you're both girls."?
