Me Working Through It
Just a bunch of poems I write to help get through life. You can see my journey through anxiety, friendships, relationships, sexuality confusion, family nonsense and depression. You might relate. I love comments (including grammar corrections). I do not own the artwork, I give credit to the artist when I can find it. I do own the poems so please give me credit and all that stuff. In Love With Blindfolds On
I gave the best of myself to someone who didn't have anything to lose. I didn't know how to avoid my lover's toxic and abusive flames. My lover's twisted words were like a maze inside of my head that I couldn't escape. Sadly, my lover's actions hypnotized my thoughts and paralyzed my thinking. I learned the hard way that love isn't leaning in for a kiss, and a fist meets you halfway. Love isn't being a punching bag because someone decided they wanted to beat on you today. Love isn't saying I love you just because someone wants to keep you to themselves. I tried to be there for my lover, but I learned it is impossible to fix the broken pieces when the glass has shattered. There will always be pieces that are not repairable. However, I kept going right back to the person who I needed to walk away from. I was afraid, and I wasn't brave enough to wake up from this nightmare! I made the choice to suffer when life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. Will I find the courage to know my worth and know that I deserve better than the distasteful lies that are whispered in my ears? Will I have the strength to fight my insecurities? The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. Storm Of Pain
Have you ever seen your life flash before your eyes? Seen all the good memories with you and your friends and loved ones just pass in a few split seconds before the moment comes where you know you'll die? Where you determine if it's going to be a quick or slow and painful death? Well then, same. I risk my life on a daily bases saving others, strangers, kids, families, anyone my team and I can help ranging from terrorist attacks to bombs to pretty much anything. The training that I received a few years ago allows me to do that, it allows me to be the best person that I can be, if I could go back to the day I joined the military I wouldn't change a single thing; the only thing I would've changed in my journey is to have looked after her better. To have kept her safe. But life had other plans with both of us... ***** All ideas in this book are thought of by me. Nothing has been based of another book. Words of life
This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear.
