It seemed like after the war against Sebastian had ended, life would go on simply for the shadowhunters in the New York institute. But life never truly got so simple, now could it? It had only been a couple years after the drama had subdued did New York get a new visit from another entity. An angel. The very thing that shadowhunters praised and lived by stood in a crater like hole in the middle of Central Park looking like the singer of some rock band who was rolling joints and snorting lines.
Azrael, the angel of death, had fallen to earth on a rather windy April night with the important mission of the shadowhunters. With angels now rising up and controlling heaven with the ultimate goal of creating a 'pure' world consisting of only shadowhunters. It is up to Jace, Alec, Magnus, Clary, Simon, Izzy and the angel to convince downworlders and shadowhunters to work together and find a way to save the world yet again or endure death by the hands of the angels and the consistant fighting between shadowhunters and downworlders tears love struck couples apart. It is a war against heaven and hell, good and evil. And this time, who knows what could prevail.
