Seventeen year old Brianna lives without much hope of a better life on the 8mile side of Detroit. Her only concern is her little brother, Brandon, and keeping him alive because it's not like her abusive mother has any intention of doing so. She struggles everyday to keep them from starving and out of trouble while at the same time dodging her mom's rage. When she meets the young Marshall Mathers, who later grows up to become the infamous Eminem, the hope of a better life finally becomes visible to her. They quickly find comfort within one another and their relationship becomes very close until life at home becomes even worse for Brianna. Sometimes it's difficult to judge human nature. We never really know how much a person can take until they finally snap. Things fall apart when tragedy strikes and Brianna finally reaches her breaking point. Her actions land her locked up with a broken heart and shattered soul. Brianna and Marshall's lives go separate directions afterwards and they have to face separate journeys. How will time affect their relationship? Will eventual fame cause Marshall to forget her? Or will their lives merge together once again?
The story obviously begins when Marshall is a teenager and living in Detroit. This is my first fan fiction, so I'm sorry if it sucks. Also, I apologize for any errors. I will try to make it more interesting further into the story if needed. Thank you so much for reading(:
