One Priest.
One lifetime of devotion.
One chance encounter.
One flash of lightening in her palm.
One piece of magic.

Can one simple question make him rethink the life he gave over to the Church? Can one moment in time make him realise that maybe, just maybe... he chose the wrong path?

Blu has spent her life doing magic "tricks" around the world, she's made mini beach scenes in the palm of her hand in Australia, she's flown with eagles in the mountains. She's also done some dark and unspeakable things with the gifts she's trained herself to use. What she hadn't been banking on was finding herself driving across America... with a Priest.

A story about discovery, questioning, unlikely friendships and knowing when to admit that maybe you did get it wrong, maybe you made the wrong choice but that is, actually, completely and utterly fine.

"You told them you love me ,huh?" He asks with a raised eyebrows, jaw hardened and eyes narrowed at the shy girl he has hated all his life. She was afraid of his tone,he didn't looked happy with her confession. Was her love going to be unrequited one? "I fuck*** asked you something Ezra! Answer me!" His tone made her gulp, his grip on her arm made her flinch in fear. "Yes" She finally answered looking into his emotionless eyes. Smirking he laughed at her confession, not believing her. "Ezra,do you even know what love is,Oh I almost forgot you are an Orphan, how would you know?" His words were sharp as knife, piercing her healed wounds. She fisted her hands, trying to control her tears. He sighed in frustration running his hand through his hair. "Now mom will not stop till she has made you her daughter in law! Fu**! Why you!" He said ,pacing the room . Oblivion to the tears ,she tried her best to hide. He didn't love her. He never did, she was a fool to even think that he for once did. Hate is all he had for her and those who said hate is the beginning of love, were fools mocking her right now. Gathering the little pride left in her she answers back in a quivering voice. "Yes,I love you. But I don't want anything from you." She says and he stares.Confused at her weird confession. Who says that ? "Nothing you say? Are you playing some brain games girl?" She lowers her eyes and leaves but not before whispering the words that made him feel something after a very long time. "Love is not something to learn ,but to feel Aaron. And I know what I feel. You may name it infatuation and lust, but I proudly call it my selfless love" ....................................................................

"You know it won't go to the West," he said dropping his voice. "Maybe you're wrong. Who knows," she shrugged. Her shoulders had slumped but she had managed to not let any tears spill. "Baum knew what he was doing when he made the West wicked, Mary," he hissed. "The East was wicked in that book too, dumbass," Mary retorted. Jacob's hands went into fists to keep from pushing at his hair. The tree behind them began to shake slightly. The ground gave a tiny rumble. *************************************************** Mary's father recently passed. But she is finding out it might not have been from natural causes... Family adversaries threaten everything while influential other worldly authorities pull the strings. Mary will have to work with an unlikely ally from her childhood to navigate their new found powers and reclaim balance. Meanwhile... one dark soul is climbing the ladder of chaos. Feel free to leave a message. I love comments! As the story progresses you might notice some subtle (and not so subtle) parallels to the Wizard of Oz. As I always advise my students- give it three chapters before setting it aside. Thanks for reading and enjoy! ☺️ This book is in a perpetual state of needing editing. I hope to return to the chapters to add some details. I'm hoping for a sequel as time allows. Oh, the life a middle school teacher... MORE TIME, I NEED MORE TIME. ‼️‼️Warning: Mild Language Please be advised.

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

Book one from TALES OF SINS series ___________________________________ AARAV I watched as she drove away from the cathedral but unlike her words there was no sign of charity or donations around. What else would a person go to the church for? To repent for their sins? To pray for good health and life? Or to express their gratitude? I have visited many holy places in my life but none of those visits were for those reasons. Every time I stepped in front of God, I always had the feeling of frustration crawl into my mind and body. I always had many unanswered questions but no one around me could answer them. Each one of them is biassed, unaware of the truth, how would they answer my questions? How will they justify my rage? So, I decided to find the answers myself. It was all good until I ended up into a deal, the kind that would cost me my sanity. At first i thought i could survive her presence but soon i realised i would only survive in her presence. ___________________________________ MIRA I was all set to live my life freely until the word 'marriage' interrupted my dreams. All my life I had lived for others and finally I had gotten the chance to explore the world. A chance that was again snatched from me. My father was anything but a loving father who would care for his children, he never asked me what I wanted, always commanding and ordering around and I hated my mother who had taught me to shut my mouth when he spoke. Maybe because I was a girl, he never cared for me like he cared for Kartik, my sibling. I was a child who wanted to be loved, seen and a child whom the parents would take pride in yet it didn't matter whatever I did, I was always unnoticed by my parents. Everyone would tell me that I was good at anything I did but I wanted my father to say that he was proud of me and that day, it never came. Now I have mastered the art of going unnoticed but then he came into my life and revived the dying hope in my heart.

"Siddharth..." He didn't say anything. Just walked towards me. His eyes were darker than night-intense, unreadable. Hungry. "I shouldn't have come," I whispered, my voice shaky. "This is not-" His hands circle my wrist pulling me behind the water tank, where the fading light wouldn't betray us. "You like the way they look at you, don't you?" Before I could answer, he shoved me against the wall, his body pinning mine. The rough concrete scraped my back, but the sting was nothing compared to the fire in his eyes. His eyes looked dark and dangerous. His mouth crashed into mine, claiming, punishing. I gasped, and he took it as invitation, his tongue sliding against mine with a possessiveness that left me dizzy. His hands were everywhere-tugging at my clothes, gripping my waist hard enough to bruise. I whimpered as his fingers slipped under my skirt, rough and impatient. .......... Pranati had always admired Shravan, her carefree cousin since she was in 7th grade. But everything changed the day Siddharth, his older brother, stepped into her life.
