Kenny Jaynes is your standard problem child with daddy issues. His favorite and seemingly only hobbies include unhealthy and violent coping mechanisms for his anger issues, suppressing emotions, getting arrested, pissing off his uncle Joe, and reading.

At the exact moment life for Kenny was falling apart even more than usual, he finds a friend in a boy named Anders; a boy who appears to have his shit together way more than Kenny ever has. When Anders refuses to accept Kenny's tough guy, emotionless facade and insists on learning more about what's underneath, Kenny finds himself overly attached to the one person in his life who's taken the time to get to know him. And with every moment that passes where they grow closer and more dependent on each other, the fear of ever being apart grows alarmingly stronger.
