This book is about the girl Jolene who deals with mental illness, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks and more. She finally makes a real friend in school, Alexis, when she joins the class. Alexis helps Jolene fight trough all these things, but one day Alexis can't be there anymore. Some readers might find this story disturbing.
