They called it the Black out and it sounded exactly like what it was. Everything had gone dark when all electricity was shut off. There was no way of bringing it back or so they had been told. Annabel had lost her parents and she was all on her own fighting to live. Jeremiah had been in a foster home and after the black out survival was all that kept him alive. Since they had met in the train train tracks they had stayed together. Two was better than one.
