Izuku is tortured for years until aided in escape by a fellow patient. His past will forever be sealed in bloody memories, but what exactly will the future hold?

His home life leads to a disastrous situation, with a helpless incapable mother to defend him, and an abusive quirkiest father, leaving him to fend for himself. A wake up call is given too the overly radiant and smiling hero wannabe, whose dreams are snuffed under a crushed candle wick, letting him see the worlds true image in the darkness. Instead of hiding from it, he lights his own torch, and shows the people of the world, what existence truly means.
