In the not so cheery town of Cold Spring, New York, the children are getting ready for summer. Some are exictedly anticipating water balloons and cannon balls, while others are awaiting to be whisked off to camps. Quinn is dreading her summer - something she never wanted to do - as she has been forced to pack some paper and pencils to go to a writing camp. It was a last chance effort by her mom to make her perfect for high school, but Quinn doesn't see the point. She will always be that girl in the shadows, sporting sarcasitic comments when needed and standing up for herself and only herself. Then the opportunity to truely express her feelings pops up, and she can't afford to pass it. Archer doesn't feel what he should as summer comes closer. He traps his feelings inside, going along with what his uncle told him he would be doing for three months - writing. Holding a pencil in his hand was what he was sure he was destined to do, and as he drifts away from his home and into his imagination, his plan for achieving greatness is interupted when an anonymous letter wins a contest, and it isn't his. Camp was new to both of these teens, but as anonymous stories are written, the sentences in each paragraph will amount to something much more important than the images both of them have displayed.

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. PSA: this book, to say the very least, is not my proudest work. i made this when i didn't know a thing about writing, let alone writing a whole story. it's simply a book you'd read if you wanted a quick sap and not something in depth. feel free to check out my other books - they're arguably way better than this one
