Mirrors are powerful. Quite a lot of lore agrees on this. Whether breaking one is bad luck, or there's a different world on the other side, they are capable of a lot.

Now, while she is a huge fan of fantasy stories, Caryn Elliston thinks this is a load of BS. It makes no sense when you look at the real world.

Until she gets transported to a new world through a mirror. then the whole 'magic is actually real' bit seems a little more believable.

Darren Avery was your usual loner kid. Well, mostly. He had a few friends, but they seemed to be perfectly fine without him sometimes. (And while this seems super corny, I promise its not completely.)

While they thought they'd never meet, Caryn, Darren, and all of the friends must work together to figure out why Caryn is there, and how to get her home, all the while surviving through their junior and senior years in high school.
