What is a magical girl? Most would say a girl who fights evil by changing into an outfit and making deals with weird creatures.
But is that really right? Magical girls are depicted as innocent maidens but the reality isn't such.
Umi Sonoda is a 2nd year middle-schooler who's past and present are far from pleasant, abused at home and bullied at school, Umi is on the brink of suicide until she discovers an app that mysteriously found it's way onto her phone called 'Mahou Shoujo Adventure!'. She opens it and discovers the apps purpose. Turning unfortunate girls like her into justice serving magical girls, or so she thinks.

This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay as long as you give credit!), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this!
