I got this story idea from an online writing prompt. Here is the prompt: NASA engineers monitor the Curiosity Rovers actions. All seems normal until the little robot suddenly changes its course. The scientists attempt to correct it over and over until they suddenly receive a transmission from the rover;

In the aftermath of a robotic invasion over the human species on Earth, a group of people created a new world on a different planet. Since the robots are a failed idea, they created machines to produce humans using the raw materials required to create life, and named them Perfects and called themselves the Lords of this new world. This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well.
