A strange-looking contraption is seen rapidly falling from the sky. Its descent was calculated and precise...until it wasn't. Halfway after entering the green and blue planet's atmosphere, it started burning up, rendering some of its parts unusable. Inside this burning contraption are a bunch of...kids. These kids numbered a hundred, have ages ranging from 12 to 17. And as for why they are all strapped inside this burning 90-year-old dropship heading to the ground...Well, it all started at the end. Ninety-seven years ago, a nuclear apocalypse struck the Earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. But of course, the human race was a stubborn one. At the time of the bombs, twelve nations had operational space stations that they used to house survivors. Later, these twelve stations banded up and merged, becoming the one we now know as The Ark. For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk? The council had a lot of reasons, but the main one being: these kids were expendable, after all, they are criminals. --- This is a The 100 Fanfiction. The MC is a reincarnator. Yeah, I know. It might as well be a self-insert fic at just how much I relate my MCs to myself. Anyway... This story has been picking up dust in the corner of my WIPs. It's time to let it see the light of day. Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."
