Surviving the apocalypse was hard enough without figures from her horror striken past showing up out of the blue. But of course, nothing in life came that easily. Not even that, but now her old lying "friend" has offered her a simple choice. Go with a bunch of strangers to a city that may or may not exist, most likely get killed on the way there. Or slowly starve alongside her friend, Aaron. And it doesn't matter how much she doesn't like it. This choice could mean life or death. It may be her only chance of survival in this awful, grief filled world.
