Octavia was no exception to this when she first met her mate, Jeremiah, at training camp when she was barely 18.

However, after a few months of bliss and getting to know each other things take an unexpected turn. Jeremiah leaves training camp early on the promise of returning to Octavia.

Now 2 years later Octavia, while still trying to understand why she was abandoned by her mate, is faced with tragedy as her family and pack have been destroyed. The council does it's best to help, but that just leaves Octavia bouncing from pack to pack. But what will happen when she happens to bounce into a certain someone's pack?
