Lance is a 17 year old refugee separated from his parents and 12 year old sister. After getting split up, Lance is left to defend himself in an ever changing world.
Seven years ago, a warning was issued to all the major powers on Earth. It stated that within one month's time, there would be war. All out war. With national relationships all ready on edge, and communication thin, people raised arms at each other rather than at the greater threat that lurked in the shadows.
2 years later and dozens of factions have sprung up around the once civilized world. Lance's desperate struggle to find his family is plagued by the frozen over surface of "New Earth". But what lies just out of sight may prove to be an even greater threat.
