This legend is set way before one country, the Philippines, was even known by that name. A story set in a seemingly different world from ours, where an abundant and diverse people lived in peace and harmony, and oppressing societal rules were not even known by any. 

When the native people still did not have a monotheistic religion, and they believed that the nature around us was the one responsible for our being. When they had different gods and goddesses, each with their own unique personalities and stories.
