When you're looking at pricing, the very first thing you're likely to do is check what everyone else charging for similar products.

That is fine - but it's not the whole picture. There's more to think about and ask yourself questions like our service is better and our product is way superior.

Your price doesn't have to be the lowest price to get sales.

We learned this a long time ago, and can easily increase the price by offering better products and support.

You must be aware of what other people are charging for their products, but use that as a starting guide.

Imagine you've just designed a new product that is so detailed, and so professional that it smacks the pants off the competition. Why not price it correctly and point out the benefits.

Don't be worried to sell at a premium price.
