Should one not do what one ought to do?

Faith in the God-Emperor of Mankind, duty and responsibility fulfilled through service to his mighty Imperium, these are the principles of the orders of the Adepta Sororitas. The Sisters of Battle, the pious warrior women of the Ecclesiarchy and the Holy Inquisition. The Order of Illumination is one such order among many. Charged with the reconquest of renegade worlds they stand and fight for the ideals of the God-Emperor's Holy Church.

Rosetta is but one of the order's many Battle Sisters. Troubled by the past, disturbed by the present and fearful of the future she treads a treacherous path between the light and the dark to find her place in an uncaring galaxy.

Perhaps blissful ignorance may be best.

This is a fanfictional story set in the universe of Warhammer 40,000.

There always was, is, and will be war. Freya has always harbored doubts about the oppressive powers that reign with an iron fist. For them, society is an unnatural construct, a mere puppet of the enigmatic force known as 'The Spark' - the source of all life and energy in the universe. This world is a constant cycle of creation and destruction, fueled by primal desires and a never-ending thirst for power and domination. Humanity, once entrusted with the gift of exploration and innovation by the benevolent 'Mother,' has squandered it in its relentless pursuit of control. To tighten their grip on society, the ruling council has devised a nefarious system called 'Tech Point,' utilizing advanced technology and an elite group of soldiers known as the 'Division' to manipulate the truth and brainwash the masses. Greed and corruption run rampant, creating a gaping divide between the privileged few and the struggling majority. But hope is not lost - a courageous band of rebels known as the Chimeras have emerged, united by their fierce determination to topple the oppressive regime and restore balance to the world. These warriors possess strength, bravery, strategic minds, and a deep sense of justice. Together, they strive towards one goal: to overthrow the tyrannical court of alchemy and usher in a new era of freedom and harmony. In this epic battle between good and evil, heroes can become villains, and sacrifices must stand for the greater good. Freya faces a crucial decision: Will she stay true to her morals or succumb to the challenges ahead?
