It took Vera's rejection for Larry to finally realise that he wasn't as special as he had already ranked himself.
Vera being a smooth operator, and real love itself, she taught Larry M how to love precisely.
Going through challenges only strengthened their love for each other.
Vera's optimistic heart taught Larry to be just as optimistic.
She was the optimist, and he was the pessimist.
Obstacles are for the weak.. not Vera and Larry.
All the mystery between Tracy and Larry, left Vera in so much woe, the jealousy that she felt, made her realise that all she wanted was him, though it did make her feel like she was just one of many girls that where so enthralled by Larry's looks.
Larry with his sweetest tongue, it swept Vera off all the negative things about him, most of all it's the genuine love she has for him.
She is not the miss perfect that she may appear to be, the snog with a stranger at the night club was quite a thing.
The car accident that left Vera crippled, though it wasn't or won't be permanent, is still one thing that drove Vera to a great depression for a short while, all the insecurities that made her feel like she wasn't enough for Larry anymore, almost made her give up on their beautiful story.
