Being bullied and attacked at a young age, Daichi has trust for one person and one person alone, a fellow elf by the name of Eisuke. They met one night while the younger was being harassed by some human boys, being left in the woods for Eisuke to find. Ever since that day, Eisuke vowed to take care of Daichi and make sure than nothing bad ever happened to him.

Since Daichi has no parents, he spends most of his time with Eisuke or with the forest animals near his tree home, never really going out into public unless he needed something... until he got his 'Job'.
