When sonic and shadow stopped the space colony ark from colliding with earth shadow failed to make it out with sonic and ended up falling to earth. As sonic starts to feel that it was his fault he couldn't reach shadow in time he meets an unexpected someone in the forest but injures his leg and isnt able to run, what gonna happen to our hero? Shadow was captured, found guilty of mass murder and was about to be transported to GUN HQ to be placed in a cell, only for Sonic to come to his rescue. The two worked together with Shadow, realising that Sonic was the only one who was willing to stay by his side and even sacrifice himself for his sake. --------- After Sonic's death, the Emerald's power disappeared as the planet went berserk and attempted to destroy itself.
