Rika a fifteen year old wild soul lives among the unfortunate in the slums of New Sancta.  A society divided by class and technology, where the past is forbidden and magick is ancient. Before Rika's sixteenth birthday, she is chosen by a powerful force to follow her true path. Rika and her friend Migyra venture out into their new world, desperately trying to save each other from the watchful eyes of the Greys, whilst understanding their bloodline.  With the implant surgery coming up, Rika is forced to follow a new set of expectations and rules that are foreign to her. Migyra disappears on the eve of her birthday, and Rika scrambles to search for her lost friend. Will the authoritative leader Everest show mercy to the lower class or will death fall over all those who oppose him?
