Long ago, The Bermieun King - Lein Hellhornezon conquered the nations of Bolm, Oncluss, Lomium, Cardive and some lands of Sura. He was soon known as Lein the Terrible for his evil ways of purging the Sura people whom he named as the reason why the Bermieun people could not grow. It was his main goal, he would reign for over 50 years on all of his domain and which was known as the dark age of Aila. His reign would end after the Altion and Lomium Army slowly liberated the lands, as well as the Sura which made much of the effort. The decisive attack would come at a successful amphibious invasion by the Altion-Lomium coalition at Garyentar and the Terrible King was slain by the hands of George Hagwinston; soon known as George the Great, King of Altion. Bermieun was divided between the two largest kingdoms of Aila - Altion and Sura. Soon the Bermieun people were more divided when their former capital city of Iosbraun was the location where the largest and longest wall in all of Aila will be created that divided it into two regions. The Eastern side of Bermieun was met with the fury of Suran people while the western side grew with the governance of the Altion, though despite all of this - The Bermieuns wanted freedom, it was not their fault but rather the former Bermieun King who caused the Global Conflict that eventually led to their current state.

In the realm of Quomared, which occupies the biggest part of the continent, magic is a scarce and precious resource. Fewer and fewer humans are born magic bearers throughout the last decades. Zaretha is the only daughter of the Alsayid, religios leader and grand mage of the country, the most powerful still-living sorcerer on the continent in service of the emperor. She is, however, born empty, magicless, to everyone's disappointment. An attempt at a coup d'etate takes place after her twelfth birthday, and her father is assassinated under mysterious circumstances. An orphan now, she is brought to live in The Priory of the White Stones, a home for girls from families that have or had magic-bearing members. They are schooled to be concubines or wives that a noble family can acquire for their heir, because even if magic-less, they still carry the gene and have a fifty percent chance to bear a magic-yielding child. __________________ Mentions: Please don't copy and all that. Alæl once ruled a flourishing Elven kingdom, celebrated for its beauty and wisdom. However, as his ambitions grew, he drew the attention-and ire-of the jealous god Kêdêmel, who saw him as a formidable rival. In a fit of divine rage, Kêdêmel cursed Alæl twice, first transforming him into Pæn, a shadow of his former self, and then into Jörcnir, a grotesque embodiment of the evil Kêdêmel believed him to possess. As Jörcnir, caught between godhood and mortality, he recognized the gravity of his plight and prepared for a final confrontation with Kêdêmel. In an act of sacrifice and defiance, he chose to divide his essence among the races he had created-Jörcs, Goblins, and Trolls-imbuing them with fragments of his will. This monumental act not only shattered his existence but also unleashed a torrent of magical energy powerful enough to banish Kêdêmel into the astral plane, a realm of isolation far removed from the mortal world. Over the generations, Jörcnir's fragmented will has slowly begun to work its way back to reconstitution, a phenomenon known as Jænaktër. This rejoining is prophesied to occur in times of dire need, when dark forces threaten to return and wreak havoc upon the world. As these malevolent wills claw their way back into existence, the potential return of Jörcnir looms ominously-a beacon of hope and a source of trepidation. Will his resurgence be viewed as a beacon of hope or a source of trepidation? Will it forever alter the balance between the divine and the mortal?
