A tale of love, and revenge!

Teresa Lisbon is attractive, robust and means business when she's on a case. She is good at her job and is the leader of her team investigating murders. After a victims husband wanders in one day, looking for the killer of his wife and child, he proves his abilities to 'work a case' and helps bring a killer to justice.

Lisbon's boss, the commissioner, assigns Patrick Jane, a cunning mentalist, to be attached to help harness his fake psychic powers to catch killers. Jane proves to be a challenge to Lisbon as he has a mind of his own, and his powers of catching a killer are often underhand.

As much as Lisbon despises Janes antics, she also feels a compelling force that draws him to her. Lisbon feels the heat between them.

As time goes by, she tries to handle her professional work as well as answer to the call of nature as she falls for her handsome, magnetic shadow.

Will she tell him how she feels? Does he even feel the same way? You'll have to read the story to find out.
