They say that time apart, makes us stronger. And time it was.
Skylar and Nick were insperable from the time they met as school children.
Nick leaves the school unplanned, leaving Skylar to fend for herself.
And after all those years, he comes back. Skylar never expected him back. Things are different between them, but soon come back, somewhat as they were. But they're older now, and Skylar soon realizes she has a feeling towards Nick, nothing like a friendly one.
And as these feelings start to develop, she begins to feel different in his presence. Her heart beats a little faster, her palms become a bit sweatier, and her voice begins to quicken and stammer.
She could only assume this feeling as love, but denies it at every moment she gets.
Who knows? He might feel the same way? But her mind gets the best of her and she thinks otherwise.
