This story is basically a what if.
Dean sells his soul to save another Hunter...excuse me Huntress. Dean fell for Elle after he heard her heartbreaking story, and she saved Sam when Jake was going to stab in his spinal cord but instead of hitting Sam's spinal cord he hit Elle's. And Dean sold his soul to bring her back little did he know that God was working on doing that himself so Elle woke up with her memory of what happened so she told Sam to let her go so she could barter her soul for Dean's.
But she lied to Sam and Dean that it didn't work so they wouldn't worry about her. She leaves them when her year is almost up but comes back to that church with Lillith and Ruby and Sam and Dean and Dean is wondering why he hasn't been having hallucinations yet and then realizes what happened and yelled at Sam "Elle traded her soul for mine didn't she Sam?!" Ashley had known the winchesters for years, No matter how much they moved around they would always come back and pay her and her family a visit. A few years had passed and they hadn't seem each other in years Dean and Sam were a memory. Ashley went off to collage and moved on. As soon as she gets the call that her family had been found dead in there home she comes straight back. As soon as the word got out two familiar looking "police officers" payed her a visit. All while helping hunt down this demon, meeting new hunters, and realizing that Dean means a lot more to her than she previously had thought. She also can't shake the feeling she's being watched all the time. She starts to uncover the dark secrets of her family. Of her mother's. She tries to figure out what the demon wants from her, and how she can help kill it. And now, her nightmares have went from keeping her up for a few hours to scared to even close her eyes. The nightmares are getting more and more vivid as she watches them unfold every night. She can't stand the feeling of helplessness she has to live with now.
