All her life, Arabella Rogers (Bella) has always been a third wheel, in friendships and relationships. When it comes to her friends, acquaintances, or even her sisters, Bella never really felt like she belonged anywhere. One day in a cafe she meets Lawrence Kingsley, a guy nice enough to pay for her drink once Bella forgets her wallet at her apartment Bella thinks it's just another ploy from another guy trying to date one of her sisters or friends. But when she and Lawrence start to get attached to each other, Bella starts to believe that maybe this isn't another ploy, and maybe Lawrence isn't another guy.
