For twenty years, the countries of Blekking and Sannleikur have been locked in a brutal war. In an attempt to push the war in her favor, Queen Helga of Blekking signed the Bill. It ensured that all morphites, beings with the powers of supernatural creatures, would be enlisted into military service, regardless of age.
When Trisha Millers was seven years old, her older brother went missing during an attack on their village. Nine years later, she still has not discovered any leads as to where he might be. In a desperate, last bid to find him, Trisha has decided to join Blekking's military force.
How is Trisha ever going to find him with her superiors constantly sending her to battle? And when a buried truth about the government comes to light, will she be forced to question her loyalties?
