It was when hell broke loose in Blackwater when Arthur got separated from the gang. The entire camp believed he was dead. That was until a gang made out of a few people appeared, slaughtering almost everyone in Rhodes. And who was the man behind it? None other than Arthur Morgan.

And finally, through the first snowflakes that started tumbling through the harsh wind, I spotted two silhouettes. Clad in thick winter coats, guns strapped to their backs. Each step filled with grim determination as they waded through the knee-high snow towards us. They stopped a few feet away. The taller man's eyes met mine. He carried himself with silent confidence, evident in the expression on his weathered, undeniably handsome face. Sky-blue eyes framed by thick brows, chapped, full lips, a crooked nose. An association lingered in the back of my head, but I couldn't quite grasp it, until I asked: „Who are you?" {-}-{-}-{-}-{-}-{-}-{-}-{-}-{-} Oh, the hatred that she holds for Dutch van der Linde. While running with the O'Driscolls for over ten years, this man had been the bane of her existence. Now, three years after leaving the gang, she gets lost up in the Grizzlies on the run from the bounty on her head. When she saves one of Van der Linde's men from a wolf attack and gets taken in by them as an ally, she has to face that hatred again. And then there's also Arthur Morgan, Dutch's right hand man, who won't let her forget either that they were enemies once. ❗️Currently undergoing heavy editing❗️ This story is a reader insert, but I avoid uses of (Y/n) as much as I can. Amelia grew up in riches. She was part Poland, knew a lot of the language despite never being there. Her father hired a tutor for her the moment she could form complete sentences. Arthur grew up in dirt. A wild outlaw who was brought into a gang at the age of fifteen. When they meet, their worlds shift. He helps her learn how to shoot a gun and know everything about them. Then leaves without a trace or even a simple goodbye. Amelia, now one of the best sharpshooters known in New Hanover with a career as a bounty hunter and hired gun, hears about a tip from a crooked Sheriff Malloy about a man taking bounties. So Amelia being Amelia, decides to investigate, and what she finds shifts her way of looking at the Wild West. Disclaimer: I own none of the early story! Charles Smith, a relatively recent recruit to the Van der Linde gang, Charles ran away at the age of thirteen when his father became an alcoholic, and wandered the country before eventually falling in with the gang. Y/n L/n, a woman that was in the Van der Linde gang since she was five years old since her family was brutally murdered by a man named Colm O'Driscoll. In the gang, Dutch Van der Linde raised Y/n with the help of Hosea Mathews of course. What will happen when the family starts to fall apart? What will happen between Charles Smith and Y/n L/n? The Blackwater Massacre - Red Dead Redemption
•This is a more serious and realistic short story addition in Arthur's point of view to the game Red Dead Redemption 2 leading up to the Blackwater Incident• •Will be Thirteen chapters, some longer than others. Each chapter occurs a month at a time chronologically up to the Massacre, each one written out like a mission• •Comment and let me know what you think! What're your favorite parts? Make sure to vote if you're enjoying :)• •Chapter 13 is the Blackwater Massacre which you can read by itself alone, but the story before helps give better context with it• By 1898, the Van Der Linde Gang had pulled off numerous robberies and heists. Months after their most recent robbery, the gang was lying low in the Grizzlies, waiting on the chance for Dutch to sell the gold they had collected in hopes of living in solitude. This story takes place a little over year before the Van Der Linde Gang ended in a standoff, and one year before the Blackwater Massacre. It introduces Lenny Summers, Charles Smith, Jenny Kirk, and Micah Bell to the gang, the last four to join before the Blackwater Ferry Heist. For a while in '98, Dutch's gang lived in peace waiting for an opportunity to buy land for their 'family'. After meeting Lenny, Charles, and Jenny, the gang was hopeful. About five months prior to the Blackwater Incident, Dutch met Micah Bell. After Micah saved Dutch's life, he was initiated into the gang, where they began to fall back to crime.Terminé

Tine Nilsen was an OC cooked up for an otherworldly short story in my RDR2 collection, BELLICOSE (that story is called "Left Behind"). I liked her and her dynamic with Arthur and John so much, I thought I'd give this a spin! It will follow events of the game for the most part, but with the omission of a certain character, expect things to change, some. This story was completed on February 23, 2023. Hopefully you'll like it! This is a mature story written for mature, 18+ audiences: violence, swears, smut will all be within, reader beware.
