A pack is a hard thing to manage. Especially alone. Brock could never handle it alone. And David never wanted to handle it without Brock. They both run the pack. Even though their pack isn't exactly the most impressive in size, there are still many challenges that come with managing wolves that pretend to be people.
Even more so now then ever. Since their curse seems to be changing just as often as themselves. It was only a matter of time before they could no longer pretend.
