Alex Lucer has always been left out. Last to be picked for gym teams, ignored by everyone, never invited to the 'cool people' party's. So it comes as a great surprise when she discovers that her best friend, Seiren El'zara, is the Alpha of the local werewolf pack, that all the stories she had grown up with were, undoubtably, true and that she has now become a prized pawn in war threatening to drown Seirns pack.
The attention she had so long been waiting for has finally arrived but does Alex really want it?

While Jonathan is more than determined to reach back to Julia, even though he knows that if he does see Julia; she'll die. Broken between his love for Julia and the fear of her dying before him. While Julia is broken between a new found hate of werewolves and fond memories of Loup and Jonathan. A tension grows as the werewolves find out about the truth whether the Guardians still live.
