काफी लोगों ने मुझे कहा है कि मैं एक तरफा प्यार के ऊपर कुछ नहीं लिखते: इसीलिए आज मैं आप सबके लिए एक कविता लेकर आई हूं जो एकतरफा प्यार के ऊपर लिखी गई है: मैंने इस कविता को हिंदी भाषा में लिखा है, मैं इसे अंग्रेजी में भाषांतर करने का प्रयास कर रही थी, पर कहते हैं ना कुछ किस्से अपने लगते हैं जब खुद की भाषा में लिखा जाए: किसी को मोहब्बत करना गलत नहीं है, पर उस इंसान से भी वही मोहब्बत की मांग रखना गलत है, अपनी एक तरफा प्यार में किसी को बर्बाद करने की चाह रखना गलत है: हर किसी को अपने हिस्से की मोहब्बत जीनी है यहां, बस जिंदगी में आगे बढ़ना आना चाहिए:
