When he put me down, we were both a little out of breath, still happy and in love, but slowly realising what was ahead of us. Whatever events would come next, we would be ready for and we would face it together.
"Yeah, we're damaged." I stated, looking down at my leg, knowing the scars lying under my clothing.
"Badly damaged." Jughead replied, lifting my head up, my lips closer.
"But your love's too good to lose." We stated to each other. I knew I would be with Jughead for the rest of my life. There was no one else I would rather be with and there was no one else that would come close to treating me as well as Jughead.

❝𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭,❞ -John Green, (The Fault In Our Stars) Why is it when I want you close, you push me away? If we both always end up broken, why do you do it? Is it for you or for me, cause I don't know what to think anymore... Or was I just a drunk kiss to you? And when we fall in love...or if...will you be there to catch me when I fall? Will you be there to guide me through the darkness, or just wait on the other side hoping I make it though? But if something were to happen to me, what would you do? ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ Betty's mother and Jughead's father were good friends, all the way back from highschool. Betty and Jughead themselves, on the other hand. They were barely even acquaintances. Sure they would see each other on holidays, but that was mainly it. Jughead was the bad boy with a dark past, Betty was the good girl who was misunderstood. Polar opposites. Everyone knew that. What happens when an attraction starts to stir? Pulling them together as if it was a magnet. He tried to push her away, for her own safety of course, but the force of the magnet seems to be stronger. If only the accident didn't happen. ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔; 1 on #bughead 11/08/20 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒅- October 1st, 2020 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒆𝒅- January 23rd, 2021 © Brianna_r13 2020

"Cynthia!" That voice caused my head to snap up and meet his desperate gaze. His eyes were pleading and terrified. Even through my tears I could read his expression from there. "Come to the shore and we'll figure this out together okay?" Veronica called again. I stood to join my sister, not taking my eyes off the dancing cracks beneath us until I stood right beside her. My hand found hers. "Thia! I can't lose you! I love you..." The boy in the beanie pleaded. We both sent the group a sad smile. Then rushing bone-chilling water enveloped us.
