Julien and Jeffrey Dierking moved to Maple Grove during the 7th grade. Sky Decivala has since moved away to her current city. So, for the summer, Julien and Jeffrey are visiting her family. That's where the twins meet Andrew Walker, the former popular boy. Jeffrey is gay, like, 100000000% gay. He falls in love with Andrew, and cannot do anything about it. Julien is jealous of Andrew because now his twin's attention is now divided, but Julien knows his brother's secret.
