20 years ago. That's how long ago it was when Tony Stark dusted away Thanos and saved the universe. 20 years ago the remaining Avengers settled down and had children of their own. People celebrated the day Iron Man brought their loved ones back from the unknown. Now, the new generation of Avengers are making themselves known. Destined to live up to their parents reputation, the new generation of heroes come together. For many reasons aside from their parents being the Avengers. For one, they needed others to relate to the stress of living up to their parents names. And another, to try and live mostly normal lives. How exactly are they going to live 'normal lives' when Thanos' son threatens to Avenge his father and follow in his footsteps?

Thor has many questions. Like if his brother, Loki, remembers him after being cast out of Asgard. And if he will ever see him again. These questions have made him a shell of who he used to be and not everyone is happy about it. Tony deliberately told Steve "no kids". So why, after two good years, have they adopted a tricky five year old son? And why, when a homeless young boy who claims to have no memory, lands on their doorstep, does Tony agree with Steve to foster him too? Wade is head over heels smitten with the Stark's son, Peter. Even as he knows there is no chance Peter will ever dream of going out with him, Wade keeps trying and turning up at Stark Tower. Only to be turned away by either parent and left heartbroken. Paths cross as a series of complicated events draw all these contrasting lives together by accident.
