Once he turns 18 and leaves high school, he goes into the Infantry Army unit. He soon is placed to fight in Vietnam. In '74 he's discharged following an accident that costed him an important sense.
Dominique must adapt to life without sight. With someone at his side the whole way, the problems prove small.
