" I hate you", he stated venomously, surprising and breaking my heart in the process.
" Isn't it the other way around", I responded without missing a beat, masking my hurt with indifference and coldness.
" You love me, I can see it in your eyes", he stated arrogantly.
"I apologize, but asshole isn't exactly my type", I scoffed.
" Sweetheart you're in denial," he smiled wickedly," I see the way you look at me"
"The only one in denial here is you", I spat my past adoration turning into resentment
Ashton stared. Not moving an inch. Not taking his eyes off of me for a second.
" Fine, let's play a game.", he stated mischievously, leaning closer to me," first one to fall in love looses"
"Bet", I said coldly, not completely registering what I had just said.
Just as I had wished in the deepest part of my dreams, Ashton leaned into a kiss. Delicately placing his soft lips upon mine. But it was nothing like my dreams, he wasn't giving me affection but torture.
For the sake of understanding the beautiful monster in front of me, I would win this game.
