Secret Wings

Humans. The animals that were once peaceful and harmless are now dangerous and harmful. They are the reason that there were no longer any animals that used to thrive. They are the reason that many animals end up in captivity because the animals look odd. They are the reason the dragons we almost hunted into extinction.
The humans lived and died, each generation bringing something new to the world. Usually, it was terrible. Sometimes, it was fine.
The earth was fine for centuries after the dragons went underground to stay hidden. But that was going to change as the tides began to raise and the volcanoes burst out more and more often.
But there was only one thing that could bring harmony to the world. And believe it or not, but all of that hope and peace would come from a human.
