Their friendship was inevitable. Two lonely souls become the best of friends when Violet, a new student, is forced to sit next to Carol Denning in History class.
Their beginning uncertainty for each other disappears when Carol's grades slip, with Violet offering to help her study after school hours. Slowly but surely as the days go by, they become fond of each other and become inseparable.
A tragic event causes both girls to become separated, Carol's hatred for her younger sister Debbie became so overpowering that she makes a controversial decision that sabotages their relationship, leaving behind a hurt and lost Violet.
