He's also delighted in the way Otto fears the power Visenya holds over the North. He knows after his brother's death, Otto isn't going to just let Rhaenyra take the Crown, but he also knows that Helaena, Aemond and Alicent no longer want Aegon on the Throne either. In conclusion, things are about to go massively wrong and Daemon cannot wait. Viserys is happy. His granddaughter has returned from Winterfell, his son from Oldtown and his daughter from Dragonstone. His family is finally together and he has every intent on keeping them together before he dies, he's optimistic not a fool, he knows what will happen one he's gone.
