When she turned sixteen, she took the chance to do just that by joining the resistance; a group of people who know the truth about that day, and why they were attacked. A group of people who know a secret, one that could ruin everything the government has ever planned.
When she falls in love with a government official, she puts the whole operation in jeopardy. When she learns the truth about both sides, she becomes conflicted. Torn between the stable lies shes been told her entire life and the chaotic truth she's just found.
With the screams of the past constantly haunting her dreams, always in the back of her mind, it makes it hard for her to find her way through this, especially when she learns that she has a large role to play in all of the chaos. Will she find peace with the Gods and with herself? Or will she become too obsessed in trying to save everyone else, that she forgets to save herself?
