The Arkansas Delta is abundant with small towns that have died out or been simply forgotten as their rich histories have perished from fast-paced living and technology. Crain's Corner is a collection of memories from a time when things were much slower-paced and simpler. This is a story about a family living in Fargo, Arkansas, told from the viewpoint of the author, Linda Crain Vaughan. These recollections begin with stories told to her from her siblings about how Crain's Grocery came to be, and then transitions to her own childhood remembrances from the 1960's to the 1980's and beyond. It is the hope of this writer to spark a flame that will help to revive the need to remember those long gone and the legacies they leave behind.
