Rose Lloyd is a 17 year old girl whose faced a few hardships in life. Parents dead at 14, living in foster care with the Grahams', and being on the run for four months. After nearly being arrested, a kind lady Gwen Bursnell offers to adopt her. Gwen is a maid to Elliot Fields and has a 17 year old daughter Sabrina. Elliot is a 24 year old teacher at the Rosemont Academy, whose trying to get away from his everyday life. With the life Rose has had so far, perusing people romantically has hardly ever crossed her mind. Being adopted at her age is a miracle, having that person work for man your secretly pinning after can go either way.
