This is yet another class work, I decided to make my own perspective, creating a whole world revolving around the admonishment of deceit and dishonesty. "Honesty Above All Else" is the slogan, the town of Aletheia follows it to a T. However, not every honest act means that you're acting morally, and not every moral act is honest.
If you are found to be dishonest, you will be administered to a "Dusting of Red Cross" which is a marking that let's everyone know that you're a dishonest criminal that should be preferably shunned from society. Jaeger is a person who sees that you need to act morally and is willing to take the fall if need be. His guilty conscience died a long time back.

(Also don't mind the cover it's the closest thing to what I was imagining, I'll replace it at some point. I hope y'all enjoy the story!)

The Trickster's Test {Prinxiety}

36 parts Complete

A game. That's what it was, or what it was supposed to be. It's become bigger than that, and they all know it. The royals all participate in the game, unknowingly or not, and they are all strictly aware that one wrong move will lead to their demise. The figurative name of the game is lying and deception. Cheating is practically a requirement; those who play fair never win. Virgil Lancaster remained blissfully unaware of this game's existence until the night of the Sunstrix Gala. Will he become yet another victim of the Trickster's Test, or will his new knight keep him from losing himself? **I do not own the characters of Sanders Sides nor the art used for the cover** **TW (individual triggers provided in chapters except swearing): Lil bit of violence, lil bit of alcohol (no bad actions associated with it just general drinking, not main characters), mentions of death/grieving, some toxic family stuff (also not main characters)
